My work with Vancouver Ceramics included designing and producing a series of slipcast vases for Celsia Floral’s in-house collection. My teammate and I designed the forms based on original specifications from the Celsia Floral design team. After wheel-throwing and firing the vases, we created plaster molds and used those to produce the vessels in porcelaing, stoneware, and coloured slip.
